About the band/artist

CAPO is a group composed of five members named Bogs, Yum, John, Momar and Ja. They play imperative roles such as lead vocals, drums, lead guitars, bass and rhythm guitar respectively.

The group is based in the Philippines. They originated from a humble apartment where they jam and craft songs. Their recorded media were uploaded to social sites and video sharing sites all over the globe. Having different influences and genres, they fused to a unique and diverse sound.

The role of the main composer is done by the lead vocalist, Bogs. He honed his skills by writing blogs and poems during college as a Mass Communication student. Some parts of certain songs are contributed by the other members of the band as well. He mull over his experiences, good or bad. That ameliorates his song writing and communication skill. He speaks through his music and relates himself through his words. Being grateful for how things turned up for him, he will continue to create and inspire the world through music.

Yum, the group's drummer is also the main arranger of the band. Being versatile musically, he shifted to drums. He is the first guitarist of CAPO. He took responsibility in editing and recording all the songs and videos of the group. His multimedia familiarity is a vital role in promoting the band worldwide through audio and video staging using the internet. Yum is a Nursing student, a course outlying from his music career. Far concepts but both integrate art and method.

The lead guitarist, John, is an adaptable player. Coming from a family of musicians, he carries the music in him. He can also sing and play various instruments. Aside from being a creative performer, he is also a wholesome artist with oozing ideas in him. With a wide selection of genres and styles, he can be accustomed to any music that the band can produce. Having a formal music training, he is an integral part of our own flavor - The CAPO sound.

CAPO’s music would not be the same without the bass lines. Momar is responsible for the low frequencies. He is also playing for his Church. He believes that God-given talent should be used for the honor and admiration of God. The whole group also carries that mission. Momar is also responsible for several lines of the songs. He sings and plays his bass at the same time. He is musically sound to be the underpinning of CAPO’s sound.

The rhythm section of CAPO is filled by Ja. He is also in charge of secondary vocals during gigs and recordings. He plays acoustic guitar, electric guitar and keyboards. He is a simple person who oozes ideas during the process of recording and performances. He plays responsibly and conservatively. Ja is one of the band’s pioneer members. He shifted from percussions to his current position to play his main instrument, the guitar.

CAPO is a group, a band, a circle bonded with faith and music. We will continue to share the music and we hope to touch your lives through the force of music.
