About the band/artist

History:

We started at the 2nd quarter of 2004 as an acoustic band that play cover songs for different resto-bars such as Apocento, Racks Valero, Tapas-Taps, Yaku, and various exclusive events. After one year of playing acoustic music, we recruited Niko dingalasan of Angulo to be our drummer so we can turn up our volume up a notch. More importantly, we also started making our own music with influences from our favorite rock, reggae, jazz and alternative bands. This allowed us to play in a wider range of musical venues (and music generally) which was actually good for our exposure. After another year, we recruited Louis Isoc of Enemies of Saturn to replace our former rhythm guitarist. He actually improved our sound and performance dramatically because of his superb and natural talents on stage and music. Eventually, we recorded our track by track 3 song demo that gave us more opportunities to expose our music (which can be heard at myspace.com/pinasmusic). After that, we then got more gigs in the underground scene which landed us a deal with ballyhoo records that promises to help us with our career in music. But sadly, Pinas disbanded for a while due to differences in personality and musical preference but was able to return and recover with new Rocking members and more great songs to booth! We’ve been playing 1 year as a ‘new band’ now but we have been judge to be ‘musically tight and explosive in stage’ presence as dubbed by the Jim beam ignition grand finals judges. 
